Holiday Chat

We had a great time at "Bunco". I put it in quotes becuase we didn't actullay play again. So we have decided that "Bunco" is our cover and excuse to get away and have some lady talk and great food! Thanks to all who brought stuff! I was thinking that we should just do a little din din every month... so what do you guys want next month?! maybe we should do a mexican theme... i dunno. what do you think?

Also... do we still want to bring prizes? Maybe we should just turn it into a white elephant gift exchange every month to make it interesting, or we could just not worry about it... let me know!

Halloween Spoof

I don't even know if that's a word, but it's late and it sounded good to me! Bunco last Tuesday was a blast-- sorry for all those that missed :( We had such a good time, I somehow forgot about the camera! Although I don't think any one is crying over that! We were having so much fun just talking... that we didn't start the game until late--- well, we didn't even start at all! We had fun just chillin and chattin. We stayed late (...late being past 10). We should probably do that more often becuase we learned a lot-- maybe too much-- about eachother... just ask Sarah and Jill about their "box"! ha! Thanks Jill for the great night of fun and the desserts were delish! Looking forward to next month... hopefully it won't come as quickly as October's did! Happy Halloween!

Baby Lily

Lily was born this past Saturday at 1:13pm. She weighed 7lbs 11oz, and was 20 1/2" in length. Both mommy and baby are doing great. Shanon went in at 7:30am to be induced and they said it only took like 2 pushes! I'm sure she will give ya more details about it. Shanon looked just as good as I saw her before baby, she even had make-up on! And Lily was so cute! She has a little bit of brownish hair and I think she looks more like Abby, but mom and dad think she is more of a mix of both Abby and Jake... any which way, she is adorable... Congratulations!

Last I heard Kristen is in the hospital, so if any of you guys have pics or details... you can post too!

Night Away From Home

Our Bunco night was last Tuesday, and I don't know if it was just me, but I really needed it. It was just nice to get away and have some fun. I learn new things each month about everyone. I also learned this month that I obviously like my pictures and things in my house "too low", which means that they are right where they are suppose to be! LOL :) Sorry the pictures are blurry... I guess I had too much to drink!

Hall Baby

Just wanted everyone to know that Amy had her baby boy on Thursday the 30th. I had called her at about 7:15pm and she said that she had been at the hospital for 20 minutes... I received a text about 2 hrs later saying that they had him! She said it took 1 hr. "and no frickin epidural!" He was 8lbs and 1 oz. Congrats to Amy and her family! I will post a pic as soon as I get one!
(Amy was at Church today! I saw her and told her to go home! I couldn't believe it!)

Ladies Get-ta-gether 8-28

Last Tuesday was our great game playing night and we had a great turn out. Those that were not able to make it were missed! Hopefully we will see you next month! Thanks to Kristen for hosting it and just a reminder that next month will be at Erin's. We attempted to get a group picture... Well, it turned out good... it was when I told everyone to do a crazy one that everyone froze up! Well, not everyone as you can see from the pic below... we will have to work on our crazy faces! The game went really fast and it was unusually quieter as well... Ha! Congrats to Kendyl for staying at the head table so long! (even though whenever I played with her we got maybe 5 points!) :) It was great and looking forward to next month! Don't Ghost yourself!

Girls Night- 7/24

Tuesday was another fun night of good ol' Bunco. Thanks to Kayci for hosting-- the food was delish! Sorry about the floors :) It was a higher scoring night than the last, but Erin's record of 5 buncos is still at large! We had fun chatting it up so we didn't even start playing until after 8! It was kinda quiet during the game until towards the end-- the caffeine finally kicked in! The prizes were the best I have seen-- I was just glad I got to pick first! ha! Thanks to Amy H. for getting the "bunco bag" and all of that stuff together, it looks great and will make taking and keeping track of everything a lot easier... thanks Amy! It is always nice to be able to have a good night out with ladies that are fun and easy to get along with! Here's to a great night away!

First Bunco Night

Just thought this would be a good idea so everyone can see what is going on and keep updated on how things are going and playing. Last night was our first official Bunco night for this new group. It was at my house and we had a lot of fun. Those that were not there, were missed! The food was good (well, I made it-- maybe we should ask others)... the game was pretty low scoring, but I think every one had a good time. I will make sure that next time we will have the updated bunco score sheets and Amy H. volunteered to get us a "bunco bag"... of coarse! We have to have a Bunco Bag! Ha! :) And thanks to Kristen for the tables! Chad had my camera, so these are pictures from my phone... Next time I will bring the real deal. I will post the winners of the prizes on the side each month. And feel free to post all you want!
